About Us
Flying Dragons is a dragon boat team made up of culturally diverse paddlers from Pyrmont and Narooma, who compete in various national and international races. The club was founded in 2010 by Carlos Ung and a group of 20 individuals with a desire for competition and a love for the sport. As a non-profit organisation promoting the ideals of fitness, friendship, commitment & respect the club strives to sustain year after year. Since that time we have more than tripled in members and competed in numerous competitions on both local and overseas front.
Interested paddlers do not need to have any paddling experience. The most important thing is to have fun while working together as a team and enjoy the paddling session.
We hope to show how much fun the sport of dragon boating and its cultural background bring to those involved.
